Factions
At the beginning of the Vulcano® game, the player has to choose the Faction he or she will belong to: Light or Darkness. This is part of the lore of the videogame and the choice affects just the aesthetics of the game and part of its presentation/progress in the story.
Once the choice has been made, in the future the player will be able to change Faction for a certain amount of “tokens” (an internal system of burning digital tokens to avoid inflation by controlling the circulating supply).
With regards to characters, if the player chooses the Light Faction, then all characters from the Darkness will not be available for choice for any of his/her battles, and vice versa. However, any player will be free to trade any character in the marketplace regardless of the chosen Faction.
Within each Faction a player has to choose an internal faction, an this will directly affect the attributes and characteristics of his/her characters.

Factions

Light:
Faction #1 – Increases life attributes of all playing characters in X % but it lowers their defenses in X %.
Faction #2 – Increases attack attributes of all playing characters in X % but it lowers their Agility in X %.
Faction #3 – Increases in a unit (“1”) the maximum energy level of all playing characters but it lowers their Attributes in X %.
Darkness
Faction #1 – Increases life attributes of all playing characters in X % but it lowers their defenses in X %.
Faction #2 – Increases attack attributes of all playing characters in X % but it lowers their Agility in X %.
Faction #3 – Increases in a unit (“1”) the maximum energy level of all playing characters but it lowers their Attributes in X %.
Besides, players can also change Faction for a lower cost in “tokens” depending on the playing style they may want to adopt or that may better function with their playing style.
